Euclide is a family of lamps composed of geometrical structures made of the light source itself. The sculptural shape is defined by the light source: the innovative custom light sources defines the structure and create the shape of the lamp, making a magical effect almost without matter, just light. The current to feed the light sources passes through the structure.From the ecological point of view, Euclide uses the minimum amount of energy and matter for its production. The family includes suspension, ceiling, floor and wall versions.

for Urban Lighting - 2022

Cartesian is a modular wall and ceiling lighting system, made up of light modules that can be connected to each other with connection bases that are fixed to the wall or ceiling.The connection bases allow you to connect the modules in a linear or 90 ° way and are able to connect 4 different modules, in this way you can create paths, different geometries and light grids.
Once the connection bases have been fixed, the light modules plug into it. The light modules are available in 4 lengths: 30/60/90/120 cm and can be combined with each other.

A refined homage to classicism Domu's essential geometric shapes find their peak in the domed sign made of blown glass characterised by geometries that belong to our culture and - at the same time - elevate the perception of the lamp. Domu's touch of personality lies in the metal ring that encircles its body and in the possibility of dimming the light source in the table version, making the environment warm and welcoming.

Table lamp. Essential and solid, the head can be moved thanks to the rotational movement of the arms and its sliding on the same arms. Without wires, the brass arms transfer the low voltage current to the LED light source, thereby eliminating the use of electrical cables. It has a USB port for charging of external devices.

Linea is a system made of flexible LED linear lighting elements. The wall version is made with a harmonic steel core, Linea can be stretched between two walls, not necessarily parallel, thanks to the tensile joints at the ends of the system. It can also be ceiling-mounted and turned into free geometric shapes thanks to the brackets that manage the core of the lamp. A silicone cover allows a consistent diffusion of the light generated by two opposing LED strips.

Linea suspension version is a system made of rigid steel modules to make compositions, to be covered with a one piece silicone diffuser making a continuous line of light.

The Rulo valet stand represents the perfect synthesis between design and functionality, the basis of "true design", which only few designers have managed to interpret with such mastery. It is made from a single 6-metre long continuous metal tube. There is a small tray in the centre for emptying pocket contents into. Do not be deceived however by its apparent simplicity, it's actually quite complicated to produce. Painted with two coats of high quality paint, can be used in any elegant environment.

Freebird, represents an ironic evolution of the classic cuckoo clock. In fact, the little bird has "evolved" from a charming and attractive design, becoming, firstly, free, and then a tough guy or a punk, and assuming different positions: riding the pendulum or swinging on the pendulum "liana" like Tarzan. When he is a bad boy he wears a black hat and black glasses, which highlight his boldness and unconventional ways. In the punk version, he sports a classic black mohawk and a spray bottle, which he has just used to write on the dial of the clock the phrase "time for fun" in a totally irreverent manner. In both versions, to be more reassuring, he flies over the pendulum, using it as a seesaw or as a liana, when he becomes Tarzan.

Originality and eye-catching look of the brand Salar inspired the birth of the bag Xaguara. Grasped the challenge to create a metal bag, the design concept is a jaguar mask.

Inspired by jaguar gods of the Maya culture, the mask shape, as ancient uses, brings protection and feline power to the women who wears it.

Xaguara is a mix of industrial process and handcraft, as after laser cutting the metal parts, it is entirely handmade, from the folds, the rivets to the leather lining.

Inspired by the variable-geometry modular structure developed
in the Rise coat rack, the family now evolves with a lighting
element and a coffee table.
In the Rise Table, six square aluminum profiles engage one
another in a circular sequence forming a self-standing structure
that supports the top.

This intersection of the three-dimensional elements leaves the
central part free allowing the introduction of a useful triangleshaped
removable tray. This, in fact, is a container where you
can store small objects or books and that can be separated from
the main top if needed.

The Rise Table is an interplay of geometric elements that widen
from the triangular shaped center out to the structure. The top
has the shape of an irregular hexagon and is supported by legs
that certainly serve functional needs yet add character to the
design. The peculiar hexagonal geometric patterns are visible
through the grey smoked transparent plexiglass.

Starting from the concept of a modular growth of geometric elements developed in the Rise Coat Rack, the family evolves with a lighting element.

In the Rise Light the square aluminum profiles engage with one another following a three-dimensional pattern of growth, supporting 6 modules in a circular sequence and closing on itself. It is an adjustable structure that can change shape in space through the movement of the metal segments of which it is composed and whose angle is determined through interplay of opposing weights and regulated by a joint action of the hub friction and the tension of the suspension cables. One of the two ends of each segment is home to a LED light source whilst direct and indirect emissions are divided equally. This disposition generates widespread, but not uniform, emission in space. The mobility of the structure is therefore not only an aesthetic choice, but it serves the purpose of varying the atmosphere luminescence by directing light ends. Given its nature, the structure can be folded flat to minimize space during transport and storage. Rise is characterized by simplicity also from a production point of view. It consists of industrial profiles that are cut and painted, involving a few simple processes and it is easily disassembled and then recycled. Despite its simplicity and lightness its presence does not go unnoticed. It makes a clear statement of originality and elegance. It lends itself to creative interpretation as a sole protagonist but also perfect for repeated sequences or compositions that can animate open spaces with light variations and shapes.

Safe Push was born starting from the original buckle of the historic wrist watch of the 80's - Hip Hop - the new locking system. the initial buckle, essential and cheap, had problems of use due to the difficulty of opening and closing.

Safe Push is a new system of buckle made of plastic, where functionality, aesthetics, simplicity, easy production and low price was fundamental.

In Safe Push the aesthetic is almost completely faithful to the original in compliance with the vintage look of the product, but with a great innovation within. Two side buttons with a central spring, allows an easy opening and closing of the buckle, and therefore a more easy use of the watch.

All in polycarbonate and stainless spring steel material makes it work well under any environment condition.

It is under production in all sizes to fit all variants of the clock Hip Hop. (patent pending).

Multiplane is a robust wall structure, consisting of four shelves. It can hold small objects, cds, books, boxes, other tools and memories as well… It comprises supporting planes obtained from a single sheet of curved metal, whose profile is part of the overall design.

An alternating rhythm of solid and empty spaces creates the structure that incorporates the planes and that can be easily affixed onto the wall. Eco-sustainable principles (simple manufacturing processes and no scrap or wasted materials) are fully respected through the whole lifecycle of the product.

Rise clothes stand is more adaptable compared to other products that serve the same purpose.

It develops upwards and is composed of square aluminium profiles that join one onto the other leaving an extremity free so that it can be used as a hook. The structure therefore rises offering the possibility to hang clothes at different heights creating support for bags, umbrellas, pieces of clothing of different lengths. It is suitable for both home and public places.

Its shape is similar to the letter “Y” and its angle is the result of a combination of opposing weights. An original but elegant and sober shape derives from such a project, a geometric graphic design that reminds you of Escher and his exploration of infinity. Composed of industrial standard profiles – later cut and varnished – and plastic closures, it requires simple manufacturing work. It is easy to disassemble and recycle.

It is a set of object holders suitable for home and office, composed of magazine holders and A4 trays. Moreover, the set provides an A3 holder that is not usually supplied.

Manufactured from the single cut and fold of an aluminium sheet, the set relies on technologically advanced materials.

The intent to keep manufacturing processes as simple as possible leads to working the aluminium sheet as if it was an origami, exploiting the thickness of the sheet.

Setubal are characterized by surfaces that make up the shape and by the absence of welding joins.

They are practical, basic and stackable and easy to lift up or movearound thanks to the provided holes. Elegant and sophisticated, they are very easy to handle and absolutely convenient for arranging documents and magazines both at home and within the office.

Jepri is a magnet-based book holder system designed by Gerardo Mari for Danese metal bookcases. The choice of metal, throughout the years, has been the result of technological knowledge, manufacturing expertise and ecosustainable value acquisitions.

The book holder system is prominently made of a metal sheet that fits a magnet which can be applied to any metal top or surface. As a matter of fact, it is a simple product, but it comes in handy when one has to arrange working areas in functional, creative and flexible ways. It stirs, and so do Danese metal tables, inventiveness and originality.

Being a magnet-based system, it can be applied also to vertical surfaces becoming a small shelf, suitable for a glass, a cellular phone or other small objects. The shape has been designed to distribute and counterbalance weights, but at the same time it can be used as a safe edged shelf if necessary.

Jepri can be adapted to different environments according to needs.

Noticeable is the intelligence and simplicity of the design that lies behind Librespiral: the modules rotate on the central structure.

It gets as tall as 170 cm but it is light because of its asymmetry and the harmonic alternation of empty and filled spaces. The configuration of the shelves is very open so that the subtle structure “disappears” leaving the books completely visible.

They, in fact, create the irregular and captivating sequential shape of the bookcase.

The wheels that made Librespiral mobile have been substituted by a system that rotates on its axis. As a result, it is possible to position the bookcase in the middle of a room as well as in other low-profile corners where only one or two sides are accessible.

The manufacturing process is simple. The use of the materials is optimized. The choice of using one material only makes it easier for recycling. The sturdiness and simplicity of the materials make of it a long lasting product. And last but not least, every single aspect highlights a design aiming at reducing the energy impact of every step of the product life cycle.

Triplane is a small element the meets the user’s need to hold and support objects. It is multipurpose and flexible, produced with little work and material. 

Two specular profiles are obtained from the cut of one metal sheet, which through a subsequent folding process forms three tops and a base that put together support themselves. There is little material waste, the manufacturing is easy and eco-sustainable. The product performs well. The structure is basic and sturdy. The metal folds and shape ensure product durability. 

It is perfect for working environments. It can be easily placed under the table,  become a secondary worktop or substitute a chest of drawers. It is basic, flexible and also adaptable to any home environment. It “disappears” behind the objects it holds and you can adapt it to different situations.

Librespiral is a small mobile bookcase composed of few and simple elements: a module rotates around the central structure and combines with another one.

Such modular design leads to simple productivity and realization. Yet, the bookcase is not trivial. The lines of the surfaces are not parallel but convergent, the apparent irregular sequence of the shelves, the diversity of the four sides give a special wavering to the shape.

A well-thought effect of almost imperceptible inclinations allows the user to move the books toward the centre of the structure and leave them in position also when the bookcase is rotated. The wisdom in the design makes it possible to keep the shelves very open. The structure, when reduced to the bare minimum, “disappears” leaving the books completely visible. On the other hand, they give an ever-changing shape to the structure.

Many small tops follow in a compact shape that takes advantage of the spaces to allow the user to subdivide and arrange books, DVDs and other small objects.

The bookcase may be moved and rotated quite easily due to its small size and the presence of wheels.

The last shelf is shaped differently so that it can close three quarters of the upper side and thus creates a small top.

The spaces between the shelves are identical in size but the angles at the two extremes of the bookcase are different. This is useful for placing a book that we want to call attention to or other small and medium objects we wish to display.

Setubal is an elegant and subtle tool, suitable not only in the office but also in our homes.

Two more functional elements are added to the Setubal system: a waste basket and a container desk. Like the trays and magazine holders, the new elements are made through laser cutting technology and aluminum plates bending, thus the technological requirements become the distinctive elements of the project.

In order to reach the utmost simplicity, the aluminum sheet is worked as if it was an origami, using the structural thickness of the aluminum sheet to build the volumes. No welding is involved in the manufacturing of Setubal, in fact the surfaces come together leaving cuts visible and this outlines the forms and lightens the volumes.

The large storage box has a convenient cover sealed solely by an interplay of cuts and lateral projections. Therefore, the box is easy to remove and use as an additional open container. The cuts allow the user to stack the box on top of the object holders for better space arrangements.
